Buffalo Bags’ latest limited edition “Buffalo Ride” batch features three sizes of their Big Buffalo handlebar bags finished in a mesmerizing tie-dye finish on khaki canvas. Check them out here…

Thailand’s Buffalo Bags regularly dreams up new and unique ways of dying their fabrics. Last summer, they created a lineup of one-of-a-kind bags by pressing and rolling various types of leaves into the fabric, and before that, they repurposed old military tarp fabric to make a small batch of some of their bag offerings. I ended up purchasing one of those bags for myself, and it played a key role in my beginner’s guide to waxed canvas bags article.

Buffalo Bags Tie Dye

Buffalo Bags’ latest limited edition batch of bags is called “Buffalo Ride Tie Dye,” and it was created by dying the khaki canvas fabric they use. Because it’s impossible to determine how individual bags will turn out, each is unique and completely different from a machine print press. Chakrist Juejoy of Gooutride in Thailand did all the tie-dyeing, and then the fabric was sent back to Buffalo Bags to be made into bags.
