As another thank you to our readers who power the site through Bikepacking Collective membership, we’re excited to share our 192nd Collective Reward giveaway: a versatile and practical pairing of a Pelago Rasket and a custom bag from Baby Legs Bags. Learn more and support us for a chance to win here…

Keeping with today’s unintentional theme of baskets and bags, our latest Collective Reward comes collaboratively from our friends at Pelago Bicycles in Finland and Baby Legs Bags in Poland. One member of the Bikepacking Collective will take home a Pelago Rasket in silver or black and a custom Baby Legs Bags Rasket Bag to go inside, made from our winner’s choice of fabric and color. That’s a roughly $310 value for one lucky site supporter. Get to know both new prizes below.

Pelago Rasket

Pelago’s Rasket merges a rack and a basket into a sturdy and strong front hauling setup that fits most bicycles thanks to an array of included adapters. It also has mounts for panniers to further extend what you can carry. The Rasket is built from durable stainless steel and is ideally sized somewhere between the venerable Wald 137 and 139 baskets, measuring 325mm x 385mm x 150mm (12.8″ x 15 x 6″). It’s less flimsy than thin-wire Wald baskets, includes a light mount, and the struts are drilled to accommodate dynamo light routing. Pelago offers it in silver or black, and it’s priced at around $135 (€129 locally). Note that Bikepacking Collective members with addresses in the European Union can save 15% on all Pelago racks through their web shop!

Baby Legs Bags Rasket Bag

Just launched, the new Rasket Bag from Baby Legs Bags in Poland is a simple roll-top bag with a Fidlock buckle that’s designed expressly to fit the Rasket. It secures to the Rasket via two side attachment points with Nexus buckles, and the bottom and side walls are padded with EVA foam to offer a little protection and structure. There are two slim rider-facing pockets at the rear of the bag, and a pair of D-rings enable users to attach a shoulder strap for use off the bike. Inside, two zippered pockets offer organization and storage for things like a wallet or phone. Prices start at €160/$175 depending on fabric, and all bags are handmade to order. Maker Ewelina has a ton of different materials on hand, so the options are nearly endless.
