DirtySixer has been pushing the big wheel movement for over a decade, starting with 36″ wheels in 2013 and moving to 32″ wheels since 2016. According to 6’6” (198cm) CEO and founder David Folch, “DirtySixer is the driving force behind the 32-inch wheel size, faithful to the origin of big proportionate bicycles for tall riders.”

Last year, DirtySixer teased a full-suspension DH 36er prototype at Eurobike and raced the Megavalanche. They are now ready to introduce the 32-inch version, the DirtySixer 32er MonsterEnduro. It’s designed around a 6061-alloy hydroformed frame, 150mm front and 197mm rear hub spacing, and 140mm of travel front and rear, depending on the final production components. The suspension uses a 4-bar Horst-link kinematic, and the bottom bracket is a fat bike T47 with an inboard bearing, providing a narrow Q-Factor of 186mm.

The two-piece cranks use a 30mm diameter steel axle, with crank length increasing with frame size and chainstay length. The frame uses a 34.9mm seatpost and accommodates long dropper posts (200mm or more). The complete build kit isn’t finalized just yet, but they do know they’ll be speccing the 32er MonsterEnduro with the yet-to-be-released 32 x 2.4″ Maxxis Dissector tires.

Geometry and sizing aren’t finalized either, but the head tube angle will be around 65°, the seat tube angle will be 75°, and the chainstays will be around 490mm. The DirtySixer 32er MonsterEnduro will be available in five frame sizes: L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, and 4XL, as with the Gravel 32er and the MTB HT (hardtail) 32er. DirtySixer has been testing several carbon rims but may ultimately use their own extrusions developed for their ebikes, featuring triple-wall construction, offset and angled drilling, and an anti-snakebite profile.
