Just announced, the all-new Jeronimo Cycles Maletta Ti hardtail is designed around a Pinion gearbox, a 120mm fork, and a set of specs that looks ready for anything from technical trail rides to long-form bikepacking adventures. Find all the details here…
Pedro Jerónimo, the frame designer behind Nordest Cycles, reintroduced his 15-year-old brand, Jerónimo Cycles, in 2021, naming each model after unique characters from the small village in northeast Portugal where his family was born and raised. Maletta was one such figure, known for his love of dancing and music. He earned his nickname as a child after claiming that a suitcase full of treasures was hidden in his house. One of Pedro’s earliest memories of Maletta was seeing him on a bicycle at his grandparents’ doorstep.
It’s a fitting name for the latest “downcountry” hardtail in the Jerónimo Cycles lineup. With a 65° head tube angle and a relatively long front center, the Maletta Ti appears to be a versatile mountain bike: progressive enough for technical trails while not too over the top to remain comfortable on more mellow rides.

Pedro also equipped the Maletta Ti with plenty of gear-mounting options, including rack mounts and four pairs of bottle bosses, making it an interesting prospect as a trail-oriented bikepacking rig. The Maletta Ti frame is constructed from Ti3Al2.5V titanium tubing and features internal cable routing for both mechanical and electronic shifting systems. And although it’s designed primarily for a 120mm fork, Pedro claims its geometry is suited for suspension travel ranging from 100 to 140mm. Here’s the full set of specs from Jerónimo Cycles.
