Justin McKinley puts a great deal of thought and intention into everything he does, and his sleep system for the 2024 Tour Divide is no exception. He’s been carefully refining it throughout the past several months on weekly bikepacking trips and overnighters, and he presents the finished system in one of his latest YouTube videos. His kit is designed to strike the ideal balance of weight and comfort, which he’s accomplished using a full down suit and minimal tarp/bivy combination. Watch his walkthrough below, and be sure to catch the full Rider and Rig feature in the Further Reading grid if you missed it yesterday.
