Katya had her fair share of issues throughout the race as well, including the complete loss of one of her brakes due to a bag wearing holes in the hydraulic lines, which had to be repaired at a bike shop fairly early in the race. Despite this setback, Katya retained a strong second-place position throughout the race. Katya was riding a Unicorn Cycles Ti drop-bar bike decked out with bags from Revelate Designs and Swift Industries.

Congrats, Katya! We hope to see you out there in other races.
