The latest Landyachtz AB-ST features a flashy gold paint job, rainbow fade graphics, and a dialled build kit for gravel riding and bikepacking. Find more details and photos here…
The Landyachtz AB-ST was released this time last year and described as “longer, slacker, and more upright than the AB1.” It’s based around a Chromoly steel frame instead of an alloy one, a carbon fork, and bigger tire clearance. In my eyes, it picked up where the AB1 left off and had all the fixings for a capable drop-bar gravel and bikepacking rig. You can find my review of the AB1 here and the AB-ST here.
The Vancouver, BC-based bicycle company just announced a new colour way and build kit for the AB-ST, sporting a summer-approved gold paint job and rainbow fade graphic on the downtube. The frame itself remains unchanged and features a 4130 Chromoly frame, carbon fork with triple pack mounts and an adjustable dropout, loads of bottle mounts, and fender and rack mounts. It has clearance for 29 x 2.2″ tires, uses front and rear thru-axles, and comes in four sizes from small to extra-large.
Besides the flashy new paint job, the latest AB-ST also has an updated build kit. It’s built up around a SRAM Apex 11-speed drivetrain, Apex hydraulic brakes, WTB KOM lite i30 rims with WTB Nano 29 x 2.1″ tires, Ritchey touch points (including a Beacon handlebar), and Race Face cranks.
The latest Landyachtz AB-ST is listed at $3,399 CAD (~$2,500 USD) for the complete build. It appears they are still offering the original navy blue GRX build for $3,899 CAD, as well as the frameset for $1,249 CAD. Check out all the details on the new build at LandyachtzBikes.com.
