Released this morning, Le Coursier is a new film shot and directed by Finley Newmark for Albion and Pertex. It follows young Swiss ultra-distance cyclist Marin de Saint-Exupéry, who has made a name for himself in events such as the Silk Road Mountain Race, Hope 1000, Atlas Mountain Race, and Transcontinental Race. “Le Coursier” loosely translates to bicycle messenger a cyclist, which partly describes how Marin spends his life outside on his bike. The 20-minute film follows Marin throughout 2023 and tells a story about how setting ambitious goals can sometimes result in losing sight of why we ride in the first place. Watch it below.

“I love racing, but in search of performance, you need to control your environment, and you eventually lose the feeling of freedom and adventure.”
