Mostly Forever (MF) Bikes in Oregon just opened up a select number of pre-order spots for its new Titanium Bedroll Harness, which provides a solid bolt-on cradle and weighs just over 200 grams! Check it out here…

We first met Max Keegan, owner and founder of Mostly Forever (“MF” for short) Bikes, at the 2023 MADE Bike Show. He was showing off his handmade hardtail that was purpose-built for the Oregon Timber Trail (pictured below), and more recently, we spotted a prototype titanium handlebar cradle on his 2024 Arizona Trail Race rig, also shown below.

We were pleased to hear that Max opened up pre-orders for the new MF Bikes Titanium Bedroll Harness, and there are 13 lucky spots available. The harness, which is more of a rigid cradle system in reality, features two 10″ tubes; the top tube is 7/8” for mounting accessories, and the lower is 1/2”. It has swing clamps for mounting to your handlebar on either side of the stem and is available in 31.8mm or 22.2mm sizes. There isn’t a dedicated way to keep your drybag straps in place, but Max let us know that Voile straps can simply be zip-tied into place (see above) for a fixed setup, which appears to be quite functional.

The back of each clamp is made from aluminum, but the rest of the harness is made from titanium, which cuts weight without sacrificing its strength. The entire system weighs just 210 grams (7.4 ounces), which is about 30 grams less than the Rogue Panda Blue Ridge Harness and 100 grams less than the Miss Grape ILCOSO.

There are 13 pre-order spots open, and once they’ve been filled, the turnaround time is approximately one month. Each harness is fabricated per rider specifications to ensure it fits your specific bar/stem combo. The harness costs $200 USD and requires a $100 downpayment to reserve your order, with the remainder due upon completion.
