Ortlieb just announced a fresh color offering for nearly their full collection of bikepacking bags. The German brand’s earthy new “Dark Sand” bags are made from the same waterproof nylon material that has proven itself as a durable and practical option wherever the trail takes you. We’ve spotted them out in the wild for some time now, including on Jonas Diechmann’s Trans America Twice rig, but Ortlieb just officially launched their latest bikepacking bag color, Dark Sand. The new color is available for almost their entire line-up as a permanent offering, joining the original black and limited edition mustard colorways. Bags in the new color are made from the same waterproof, PVC-free nylon material we’ve come to trust from Ortlieb’s bikepacking collection.

For the time being, it appears only the Atrack Bike backpack and full-sized Frame-Packs aren’t offered in the new color. Most of the bags linked above are available in multiple sizes to suit riders’ unique needs, and prices range from $65 up to $195.
