The Otso Voytek is unique in the world of fat bikes. Owing to its narrow Q-factor and XC-inspired geometry, it’s equally suited to running massive 26 x 4.8″ tires in the winter or 27.5+ or 29+ mountain bike wheels in the summer. We’ve heard of many Voytek owners racing winter events in the snowy months and then with a simple wheel swap and flip of the rear dropout tuning chip, running it as a mountain bike or bikepacking rig once it warms up. Last year, the Voytek received its first major update since its release back in 2016, which included more tire clearance, a redesigned fork, and updated build kits.
While nothing major is changing for 2022/2023, Otso did just release some fresh colors for the Voyek that are looking pretty sharp. The new colorways, known as Pink & Sunflower and Pistachio & Navy, follow the tri-color paint scheme that was first shared in 2021, which features a tonal pair of colors that contrast with the third accent color. According to Otso, the “Pink & Sunflower pairing might be the visually loudest bike paint scheme that we’ve crafted. Winter is a dark season here in Minnesota, and this should make for some nice contrast on snowy forest trails.”
The Otso Voytek is available now as a complete build or frankset (frame, fork, and cranks) via the Custom Bike Builder on Otso’s website and with the Otso network of dealers. Complete builds start at $3,990 USD, and the frankset costs $2,790 USD. Learn more at OtsoCycles.com.
