Rockgeist’s Barjam handlebar harness was just updated to be made entirely in the USA, including the carbon fibre bar and aluminum mounting brackets. Learn more about the change here…

Originally released back in 2017, the Rockgeist Barjam is a lightweight handlebar harness that’s designed to protect your cables by pinning the dry bag down and tight against your bike’s frame. Two aluminum brackets attach directly to your handlebar and hold a 22.2mm diameter carbon bar to provide stability for the harness. Two Voile straps are used for a reliable and slip-free way to secure your dry bag against the fork and the carbon bar. Rockgeist just updated the Bajam system with locally manufactured hardware, including the bracket from Asheville, North Carolina, and the carbon fiber bar from Washington.

“The previous version of the Barjam used inexpensive brackets/bar made in Asia,” Greg at Rockgeist explains. “That version served as a proof-of-concept for a highly functional harness design. As demand grew, we switched to machining the hardware locally. While this increased the price, it also increased the strength and quality of these parts. It’s also important that we are now keeping our money within our small mountain town and pay machinists who we share our local trails with. Thank you for supporting our community and made-in-USA manufacturing.”

The Barjam harness comes in a few different colours of X-Pac, includes 31.8 or 35mm brackets, a carbon fiber bar, two 25″ or 32″ Voile straps (or both), and is available now from Rockgeist.
