British Columbia, Canada

Weekend Snapshot

By Miles Arbour

Despite a surprisingly mild and somewhat dry fall here on British Columbia’s coast, last week, the rain seemed to all come at once, and we’ve been dealt some seriously wet days ever since. It’s hard to muster the courage, layer up in rain gear, and get out for a ride, but I rarely regret it. This particular shot is from one of my all-time favorite XC loops, where Kelly Falls was absolutely raging. I couldn’t resist snapping a slow shot to capture the movement of all the water.

Colorado, USA

Weekend Snapshot

By Taf McMurry

The Goodnight 2025 Campout took two friends and me up to Bald Mountain Gulch in Colorado. Waking up to a cotton candy sunrise, we enjoyed hot drinks before packing up and finishing off this loop in my backyard.

Oaxaca, Mexico

Weekend Snapshot

By Logan Watts

After a spin up to San Augustin Etla to visit the art center, we crossed the valley and took a mellow route back to Oaxaca on the old rail grade. It’s a mix of paved roads, bike paths, and dirt along the old rail line with a dash of history as you reenter the city. Until the 1890s, Oaxaca remained largely cut off from the rest of Mexico. Oaxaca’s historic rail station, inaugurated by Porfirio Díaz in 1892, was a key part of Mexico’s modernization, connecting Oaxaca to Puebla for commercial trade. The passenger service ceased operations in the 1990s, and the original building now houses the Mexican Southern Railroad Museum.
