Harrisonburg, Virginia

Weekend Snapshot

I shot this photo about 15 miles into the Slate Springs Overnighter route. After a brutal climb (and some hike-a-bike!) to the top of the ridge, we stopped at a quaint campsite surrounded by mountain laurel for the night. The leaves bristling in the wind made for some great natural white noise.

Salzburg, Austria

Our spontaneous plan to circle the Hoher Dachstein (a classic MTB route in Austria) as a bikepacking tour turned out to be a great idea. Beautiful views onto the Dachstein and the surrounding mountains and valleys combined with marvelous doubletracks and a bit of hike-a-bike.

West Virginia

Film scans from our ride of the Canaan Valley and the Forks of Cheat. It was our first trip, and it got us hooked on bikepacking!
