Colorado, USA

Weekend Snapshot

By Taf McMurry

High above the Arkansas River Valley, as the elevation gain climbs above the rocks, Mt. Princeton is the backdrop. A solo bikepacking adventure in my backyard, where there should be piles of snow and impassable roads. An overly dry and warm winter made access earlier this spring, allowing for my two-wheeled adventure!

Peru

By Cass Gilbert

As part of a longer visit to the area, I recently headed out to the stone forest of Hatun Machay, a day’s ride from Huaraz, Peru. Situated at a lofty 4,290 metres, it’s accessed by paying a small fee to the local community and is a popular spot with climbers. Most visitors camp outside the refugio, but I followed a trail into the forest itself and, thanks to my iPhone’s compass, found a spot to myself with perfect sunrise alignment!

Vicenza, Italy

Weekend Snapshot

My husband and I are cycling across Europe for our honeymoon, starting in Marrakesh, Morocco, and hoping to reach Georgia. Coming from the West Coast of the United States, seeing all the old buildings and remnants scattered throughout is absolutely astonishing!
