Following our review of the new Rogue Panda Ripsey V2 dropper-compatible saddle bag earlier this week, we’re giving one to a random site supporter for Collective Reward #209. Learn more and back us for a chance to win one of many prize drawings here…

Building on the inventive Ripsey V1 saddle bag Rogue Panda released in 2022, the small maker out of Flagstaff, Arizona, launched a refreshed Ripsey V2 earlier this week, and it features many thoughtful improvements over the original. Miles spent some time riding with one for his in-depth review and raved about its tire clearance, stability, easy installation, and quality build construction. Now, thanks to the Rogue Panda team, one randomly selected member of the Bikepacking Collective will receive one for our 209th Collective Reward. That’s a $220 value for our lucky winner.

The Rogue Panda Ripsey V2 comprises a waterproof drybag, an injection-molded harness, and a clever two-piece saddle rail clamp, enabling it to be used on a wide range of rigs with dropper posts. Several optional shims allow for secure fitment to posts of various diameters. The system boasts class-leading tire-to-saddle clearance and is rock-solid over bumpy terrain. The removable 8L dry bag makes packing and unpacking at camp a breeze, and the top-end Austere buckles will last a lifetime. In total, the Ripsey V2 is an impressively practical and adaptable solution to the problem of how to carry the necessary bikepacking gear on a bike with a dropper post. In addition to Miles’ review above, you can find further details and specs at RoguePanda.com.
