There are just nine days left to support us by becoming a member of the Bikepacking Collective in time to receive the upcoming 14th printed issue of The Bikepacking Journal in your mailbox, and we’re thrilled to share the news that amazingly talented Australian artist Alex Hotchin is creating a beautiful hand-illustrated Route of Caravans map for Collective Reward #212. Best of all, rather than a random prize drawing, all of our Sustainers and Builders will receive one inside their copy of the new issue!
Alex’s map accompany’s Sarah Swallow’s piece titled In the Fold of the Anti-Atlas, as pictured on the latest cover. The fold-out map measures 40 x 60 centimeters (15.7 x 23.6 inches) and features an astoundingly intricate hand-drawn version of the rugged route with several colorful vignettes depicting scenes along the route. It’s only available as a giveaway for our members and won’t be offered for standalone sale. And like the Journal, as always, it’ll be printed in Germany on a top-of-the-line offset press with high-quality paper stock and inks—no expenses spared.
