The Cotic SolarisMAX just got a few updates that are likely to make many bikepackers happy, plus two new color options: Hubble Purple and Froggatt Green. Learn about the fresh updates and colors here…

With a Reynolds 853 frame, a versatile trail geometry built around 120-140mm forks, room for 29 x 2.6″ tires, and plenty of mounts, the Cotic SolarisMAX has long been on our list of interesting bikepacking-friendly steel hardtails. And the latest iteration just got a little more interesting. According to Cotic, the new frame receives a lighter, stronger seat tube with a new braze-on clamp. Plus, there’s an additional pair of bosses under the down tube for an extra bottle cage or other bikepacking luggage, as well as two new colors.
