Now available for flat bars and drop bars, Dynaplug’s Covert bar end tools make plugging tubeless tires a breeze. Check them out here…

Over the last few years, I’ve had the chance to test out a number of Dynaplug’s tubeless plugger tools, including the popular Pill tool, Racer, and original Covert tool, which came equipped with a set of ODI lock-on grips. There’s no question that their plug design is the fastest and most effective out there, and it’s always great to see the Dynaplug team coming up with new ways to carry their tools.

The latest Covert tools stash the tubeless plugging tool and plugs neatly inside your bar ends. The kits are available for both flat and drop bars using their Twin Tube design that provides plugs that are ready to go on each end of your bar. A small aluminum housing lives inside the bar end (secured in place with three small grub screws), and the tool itself threads neatly into the end, replacing the space a bar end plug would normally live. At $125 USD, the new Covert tool is one of the most expensive tubeless pluggers out there and likely will only appeal to folks who won’t settle for anything but the best or have a very specific build in mind.

  • Weight: 42-84 grams per tool
  • Place of Manufacture: USA
  • Price: $124.95 USD

Head over to Dynaplug.com for additional details and to buy one of the new Covert tools for yourself.
