Bikepacking Duncan Road, Western Australia (Video)

Cathy Young and three of her mates took on a 10-day bikepacking trip along the Duncan Road, a remote track in Western Australia’s East Kimberly region. Along the way, Cathy captured footage of this incredible landscape and later put together this video documenting their ride. Watch it and learn more about the route here…

After poring over maps and talking with their local contact, Cathy Young and three of her friends set out to ride the Duncan Road in the remote region of East Kimberley in Western Australia. It took them 10 days to complete the route, and along the way, they found plenty of opportunities to swim and soak up the magical landscapes in this amazing area. About Duncan Road

Built in the 1960s to service the cattle industry, the Duncan Road is a 430-kilometer road that meanders through the remote Outback and the lands of the Miriwoong, Kija, Gurindji, and Jaru people in East Kimberley, Western Australia. Cathy and her crew made a loop out of it starting at the northernmost point in the town of Kununurra. Find the map below:
