Hello, I’m Trevor. I was born and raised in the foothills of Alberta and now I reside in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, with my two boys. I work at a local university doing communications, and I’m a multimedia producer and curator at messkit magazine, a journal dedicated to adventure cycling with a bit of food mixed in.
I’ve always had a love affair with cycling, and it’s been a huge part of my life as long as I can remember. I’ve ridden across Canada, completed the Tour Divide, and managed to stay awake to finish the Paris-Brest-Paris, amongst other local gravel and bikepacking events. My main focus lately has been exploring local trails in eastern Canada and the US while trying to make the perfect cup of joe on the trail.
I’ll admit I’m a bit of a newcomer to the fat biking scene. I’m super proud and grateful to be riding this Panorama 2024 Chic-Chocs, not only as an ambassador of Panorama but as a collaborator with Panorama to design the bike’s graphics and look of their headbadge. The Chic-Chocs are a rugged and majestic mountain range in Eastern Quebec, and this bike reflects their character. It’s my first season riding this bike, and I’ve already ridden it on a three-day fat bikepacking trip and competed in the 200-kilometre Wendigo fat bike ultra as well. I couldn’t be happier with how it feels on technical singletrack and fully loaded on icy and rough snowmobile trails alike.

There’s something really cool about being associated with Panorama. They’re the first carbon-neutral bike manufacturer certified by Climate Neutral and are an independent bike company in a world of big companies. On top of it all, they are also a local company based an hour from where I live. What more can I ask for!?
