The new Ass Savers Win Wing MTB is a follow-up to the Swedish brand’s success in creating a removable fender for gravel and road bikes. Clearing a three-inch tire, the Ass Savers Win Wing MTB might be a worthy addition for anyone facing less-than-ideal weather but with a desire to ride. Find details here…
Ass Savers is back with a new release in their fender lineup, the Ass Savers Win Wing MTB. Following the success of their road and gravel offerings, Ass Savers thought mountain bikers shouldn’t miss out on the potential coverage. With the Win Wing MTB, riders can fit up to 3.0” tires on 26” to 29” wheels. Based on their concept of “tangential coverage,” the Ass Savers Win Wing MTB required a rethink that ultimately led to its unique design. To comfortably fit larger tires, the updated wishbone strut design is said to be both wider and stronger. Of course, mountain bikes come in all shapes and sizes, so the new wishbone is also adjustable.
There’s a consequential difference to the blade as well. It’s longer, wider, and has a crease at the sidewall for added rigidity. For the initial launch, the brand is rolling out three unique styles that will feature on their new fenders: the all-black “Stealth,” popular “Detour,” and MTB-exclusive “Roks” colorway.
The Win Wing MTB is made in Sweden and weighs 114 grams. Like all Win Wing models, the it ships with frame-protection stickers. The Win Wing MTB costs €33 ($38) and is available now on their website or at your local Ass Savers distributor.
