While my adventure bike isn’t ready, it’s still good to enjoy chilly mornings, small backroads, and gravel tracks with my everyday beater aka the Bullitt. Mixing wandering around our beautiful area with cross-training for the trail running season on a Sunday morning or a Friday night afterwork ride when the sun comes out. I love grabbing every opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, if possible without rain, and sometimes by getting lost and encountering deer in quiet and remote places.

The Baja Divide, a trail as much loved as it is hated. For almost 2,000 kilometers, we pedaleded along sandy roads, through cacti fields, and past magnificent beaches and small fishing villages. And we did it all with the strength of our legs and our minds. After continuing on the Trans-Mexico Norte through completely different landscapes, it’s now time to rest in Mexico City so we can tackle the next leg of the journey to Patagonia in good shape.
