Sucre, Bolivia

By Martin Caruana
Four months in to cycling through South America, my partner and I have fallen in love with Bolivia. Breathtaking views, friendly locals, and countless wildlife sightings make up for the seemingly endless, sometimes impossibly steep climbs. This photo was taken somewhere between Potosi and Sucre, stopping to enjoy the view and contemplate the infinite switchbacks dropping almost 1,000 metres into the valley below.
Sichuan, China

By Luis Martinez
I took a nine-day trip across the north of Yunnan and West Sichuan, close to the border with Tibet. This is the highest point I rode up to at 4,150 metres of elevation. It also was the last climb, and it took me about two days, though I slept not too far from the highest point. After this stop, it was a 36-kilometre descent directly into a town with a coffee shop, which was the best way to end the day.
qathet Regional District, British Columbia

By Miles Arbour
My good friend Skyler Des Roches, the brainchild behind Mica Cycles, recently relocated to the qathet Regional District on the Sunshine Coast. I grew up in a forest with no neighbors close by, but I can imagine that having a friend living within a few minutes’ bike ride is how kids in town felt growing up. It has been a fun week showing Skyler my favorite spots and hanging out. This shot was captured on a trail close to both our places, making it the perfect pre-ride for a dip at my favorite swim spot. I’m so ready for summer.
