Wilde Buckaroo Bars

The Buckaroo bar is Wilde’s made-in-the-USA all-terrain flat bar. Featuring 50mm of rise, 45 degrees of back sweep, a 22.2mm clamp, and 800mm of width, the goal was to find a sweet spot between all-day touring comfort and techy singletrack precision. Wilde thinks they’ve nailed that balance here. The bar weighs 713 grams and comes in three finishes: clear, black, and, for an extra $50, nickel-plated.

Cane Creek GXC Seatpost

$90 at Cane Creek

Cane Creek launched their rigid GXC seatpost earlier this week. It comes in both 27.2 and 31.8mm diameters, in black or polished finishes, and features a three-way adjustment system at the head that allows adjustment with a 4mm hex, a 16mm box-end wrench, or by hand. It also weighs just 236 grams for the 27.2-diameter version, has a 10mm offset, and is compatible with round 7mm x 7mm metal rails and oval 7mm x 9mm carbon rail saddles.

South City Stitchworks Love Handles in Cortado

Made in St.Louis, MO / $175 at South City Stitchworks

South City Stitchworks released a limited run of their beloved harness system, the Love Handles, in a light brown color they’re calling Cortado. Featuring the same design as the original black-and-white Love Handles, it’s a small, limited-run of harness bags that won’t last long.

Onyx Hub Keychain

New for 2026, the MesoSpire 2 DW is Tarptent’s lightest two-person double-walled sil-poly tent ever. It weighs just 35.35 ounces (1,002 grams), pitches with short folding struts or two sets of trekking poles, and offers impressive interior volume thanks to vertical end walls. It’s spacious enough for two long/wide sleeping pads and tall users and costs $339, not including the main poles.

La Chouette bike shop in France just released some fresh shop Ts designed by their own Jacob. Here’s what Jacob has to say about the design: “I wanted to do a really technical, life-like design of an owl riding towards a ramp, showing the fear we’ve all known at some point when there’s not much you can do but do it. I had to use a swear word, so I apologize for that.”

Schwalbe E-MICRO PUMP

Electric mini pumps have gone from novelty to ubiquitous in just a few years, and Schwalbe’s new E-MICRO Pump is one of the latest examples. Weighing just 130 grams (4.6 ounces) and small enough to disappear into a jersey pocket or frame bag, it can inflate tires up to 120 PSI while providing a digital pressure readout for precise top-offs. Its durable aluminum body, USB-C rechargeable battery, and compatibility with Clik, Presta, Schrader, and Dunlop valves make it quite versatile.

Myca and Matt Mustin, a father/son duo who have done a few bikepacking races together, recently participated in the Huracan Challenge in Florida. They made a detailed 40-minute video that recaps their ride, highlighting the sandy tracks, nighttime swamp wades, and everything else the event threw at them.

If you’ve spent time on Instagram recently, then you have probably come across Laini Bones. Over the last few months, she has grown a massive following by hunting down and taking Strava KOMs of top male cyclists, including WorldTour pros Quinn Simmons, Sepp Kuss, and Sean Quinn. Laini was a guest on Hannah and Sarah Sturm’s new podcast, Talking Over You, and it’s worth a listen.

Bikepacking the Cowichan Valley 8

Anna Dong from Seattle, Washington, recently had the chance to join a 20-person group bikepacking trip to Victoria, BC, following the Cowichan Valley 8 route. As Anna puts it, “130 miles and ~6k feet of elevation over three days made for a challenging and equally rewarding journey. Wouldn’t change a thing.” Find the route guide here.

Logan Watts: Connecting the Sierra Madre

Yesterday, I was dreaming and scheming a route to connect the newly published La Travesía Oriental with the La Vuelta de Citlaltépetl and Ojos De Tehuacan in Puebla, and then onward to Oaxaca via the Ojos de Cuitaclan and Vuelta de Santiago Apoala. I’ve ridden the beautiful Ojos De Tehuacan (see photos above) and sections of the latter, so I can only imagine that the parts in between are quite lovely.
